What time is it in Bangladesh?
Bangladesh Standard Time (BST) is UTC+06:00 across the whole country, all year round. There is no daylight saving, so the offset from your own city never changes with the seasons.

Working with Bangladesh from abroad? Dhaka is 6 hours ahead of UTC, 1 hour ahead of Dubai, 2 hours behind Tokyo, and 10 or 11 hours ahead of New York depending on US daylight saving.
Why Bangladesh keeps a single, fixed time zone
๐ UTC+06:00, all year round
Bangladesh Standard Time has stood at a fixed UTC+06:00 offset since it briefly experimented with daylight saving. In 2009 the government moved the clock forward by one hour for several months to reduce electricity demand for lighting during peak evening hours, but the change proved unpopular and confusing and was reversed the same year. Since then the country has kept a single, unchanging offset year-round, with no clock changes to track and no daylight saving to remember.
๐งฎ Converting time zones by hand
Because Bangladesh never shifts its clock, converting to or from BST only requires knowing whether the other city currently observes daylight saving. Most of Europe, North America and Australia move their clocks twice a year, which is why Dhaka's gap to London, New York or Sydney changes by an hour at different points in the year even though Dhaka itself never moves - the tool above accounts for this automatically for any date you pick, not just the current moment.
