History
Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology was established in 1995, descended in spirit and name from the century-old Ahsanullah Engineering College whose main lineage became BUET. It was created to extend private, engineering-focused higher education under the Ahsanullah name and legacy. It has grown into one of the leading private engineering universities in Bangladesh.
