History
Noakhali Science and Technology University was established in 2006 to bring a dedicated public science and technology university to the coastal district of Noakhali. It began teaching with a handful of departments on temporary premises before moving to its permanent campus. It has grown steadily, adding computer science, business and pharmacy programmes to its original science base.
